Welcome to Dr. Home Care (“DHC”, “we”, “us” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the services, website (https://drhomecare.co.in/) and any related services we provide in Karnal and surrounding areas. By using our website or booking any service through DHC, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use or access our services.
1. Definitions
- Customer / You: Any person or business that requests, purchases, books or uses DHC services.
- Services: All products, services and rentals provided by DHC, including but not limited to home building and reconstruction, equipment rental, housekeeping and cleaning services, repairs, installations, and related works.
- Equipment: Any tools, machines or items provided by DHC for rent or use at the Customer’s premises.
2. Scope of Services
DHC provides professional home-related services on a case-by-case basis. Specific service details (scope, deliverables, timelines and pricing) will be provided in work orders, estimates, invoices or booking confirmations. Any additional work not included in the original scope will be treated as extra and billed separately.
3. Booking, Estimates & Confirmation
- Bookings can be made via our website, phone, email or in-person.
- All bookings are subject to availability and acceptance by DHC.
- Where applicable, DHC may provide a written estimate or quotation. Estimates are valid for the period specified in the estimate. A booking is confirmed only after the customer accepts the estimate and any required deposit or payment is received.
4. Pricing, Payments & Taxes
- Prices quoted are exclusive of applicable taxes (GST or other taxes), unless expressly stated.
- Payment methods accepted will be listed on the invoice/booking confirmation. DHC reserves the right to change accepted payment methods.
- For certain services or equipment rentals, a security deposit may be required. The deposit (or part of it) may be withheld to cover damages, unpaid charges, loss or late returns.
5. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds
- Cancellation and rescheduling policies (including any cancellation fees) will be provided in the booking confirmation or estimate.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed by the original payment method within a reasonable time after approval. Processing times depend on banks and payment providers.
- DHC may cancel or reschedule a booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural events, supplier failures, personnel illness). In such cases, we will attempt to notify you promptly and offer alternatives or refunds where applicable.
6. Customer Responsibilities
- You must provide accurate information about the property, access, and scope of work required.
- Ensure safe and lawful access to the property and secure or remove valuable or fragile items from the work area. DHC is not responsible for damage to items left in the work area unless caused by DHC negligence.
- For certain services, electricity, water supply and appropriate working conditions must be available; if not provided, additional charges may apply.
- Customers must inform DHC of any health, safety or special conditions (e.g., pets, hazardous materials) prior to service.
7. Equipment Rental Terms
- Equipment is rented subject to availability and on the terms specified in the rental agreement.
- The renter is responsible for proper use, care and timely return of rented equipment.
- Loss, theft or damage to equipment beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the renter at repair or replacement cost.
- Late returns may incur additional charges.
8. Subcontracting & Use of Third Parties
DHC may engage subcontractors, independent contractors or third-party service providers to perform all or part of the services. Such personnel will be bound by DHC’s standards, but DHC is not liable for misconduct by third parties beyond what is required by law.
9. Service Acceptance, Inspection & Complaints
- Upon completion of services, you should inspect the work. Any complaints or issues must be raised within the timeframe specified in your work order (or within a reasonable period if none stated).
- DHC will make reasonable efforts to address and rectify valid complaints as per our service policies.
10. Warranty & Disclaimers
- DHC will perform services with reasonable skill and care. Where a warranty is given (if any), it will be specified in writing in the service agreement or invoice.
- Except where legally required, DHC provides services “as is” and disclaims all other warranties, whether express or implied (including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose), to the fullest extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of Liability
- To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, DHC’s total liability arising out of or in connection with these Terms or any service shall be limited to the amount paid by the customer for the specific service that gave rise to the claim.
- DHC is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by DHC’s proven negligence or for other liabilities which cannot be lawfully limited.
12. Safety & On-Site Conduct
- For the safety of our staff and customers, DHC may refuse to perform services where the site is unsafe or where staff are threatened, harassed or subject to unacceptable working conditions.
- You agree to follow any reasonable safety instructions provided by DHC personnel.
13. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including images, text, logos and designs, is owned by or licensed to DHC unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from our site content without written permission.
14. Use of Photographs & Testimonials
By permitting our personnel to work at your property, you grant DHC a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to photograph the completed work and use those images (with or without attribution) for marketing and promotional purposes, unless you explicitly request otherwise in writing prior to service.
15. Privacy

16. Third-Party Links & Services
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, apps or services. DHC is not responsible for the content, terms or practices of third-party sites. Linking does not imply endorsement.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DHC, its officers, employees and agents from any claims, damages, costs or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our services, negligence, or wilful misconduct.
18. Force Majeure
DHC will not be liable for failure to perform any obligation due to events beyond our reasonable control (acts of God, floods, storms, fire, war, strikes, supplier failures, governmental actions or restrictions). In such events, we will attempt to notify you and reschedule services where appropriate.
19. Termination
DHC may suspend or terminate access to its services or website for any user who breaches these Terms, misuses services, or behaves in a way that puts staff at risk. Termination does not relieve you of any accrued payment obligations.
20. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest Terms will be posted on our website with the effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
21. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Karnal, Haryana, India.
22. Severability & Entire Agreement
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, it will be severed but the remainder of the Terms will remain in full force. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and DHC regarding the subject matter herein.
